TRACTOR DRIVING - NPTC ATDO2

Safe tractor driving in Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (both commercial and amenity) is an essential part of a challenging area of work. Particularly important is the use of tractors, trailers and implements by new entrants or by those who have had little formal instruction in the safe use of these vehicles.

This course places particular emphasis of safe operating techniques and highlights the dangers associated with such equipment. Training covers the requirements for the NPTC Tractor Operation Tests ATD02 a which can be taken at the end of the week, by prior arrangement.

FORK LIFT TRUCK OPERATION

We have for some time, provided training to meet the requirements of the Approved Code of Practice of ‘Rider Operated Lift Trucks - Operator Training’ which was issued by the Health and Safety Commission and is enforced under the Health and Safety at Work Act.

This course has been developed for experienced tractor drivers who wish to extend their skills to fork lift truck operation and leads to a certificate of competence.

Each course is structured to meet the needs of the individuals. Training which is normally carried out at our workshop covers rough terrain telescopic forklifts, but on-site training to cover the specific make/model operated within the company/enterprise can be provided where two or more operators require training.
