This is a year round activity however it is very weather and season dependant. You can experience up close the tree canopy through the seasons observing the changes close up. See newly emerging buds and flowers in spring, lush leaf cover and numerous insects during the summer months, golden leaves during the autumn and beautiful clear skies with fantastic views of the countryside during the winter. You will have the opportunity to climb as high as 50 feet but you need go only as far as you feel comfortable and there will be rests on the way up, a picnic and refreshments are included in the cost.

Courses are normally limited to a maximum of 6 people, larger groups for corporate functions, team and confidence building or away days from the office can be specially arranged. School and outdoor activity groups are most welcome to add a unique educational experience. If you want a personalized experience we can accommodate one to one training. Training and supervision will be undertaken by our enthusiastic Instructors who are all qualified and experienced arborists, working at all levels including overseas in such exotic places as the rain forests of Honduras or installing platforms for National Geographic in the Congo to observe chimpanzees.

All the experiences include safety equipment, a helmet, safety harness, ropes and accessories, a risk assessment with safety briefing and practical demonstration. In total two and a half hours of supervised experience.
Sites are located within the historical Englefield Estate woodland covering an area between Mortimer and Theale, close to Reading, between junctions 11 and 12 off the M4.
